About Us
Holt Safety Co, LLC (HSC) was established in 1993 as a small but passionate reflection of its founder, Al Holt.
Al has dedicated most of his adult life to ensuring the safety of others in the industrial workplace, emergency medicine, fire fighting, law enforcement, managing cattle ranches, and in the wild spaces, which are his favorite. Al has spent significant time living off the land with the barest of essentials, cooking over an open fire with his horses and pack animals nearby, seeking the next adventure.
Karin joined the dream and added her experience in back country exploration, wild land firefighting, minimalist style camping, horseback patrols, emergency medicine, crisis response, and law enforcement. Together we have over 40 years of experience as students, instructors, ranchers, enforcers and protectors of ourselves and the innocent. Our goal is to use our experiences to help as many people as possible to literally expand their horizons, share skills and increase confidence to enthusiastically and safely conquer their personal goals and dreams.
